It might be premature to say this after only three completed pages, but here goes: I have read many "Graphic Novel adaptations" of various films and books over the years, and most of them are steaming crap. A graphic novel works by totally different rules than a novel or a book, and adapting a story from one medium to the other can be really tricky. Many otherwise-talented comics artists fail to grasp this. About the only comics adaptations I can think of that worked as comics, on their own, are the very-seldom-seen Archie Goodwin-Walt Simonson adaption of ALIEN... and this.
Great job. You have hit the perfect balance between Palahniuk's words and your images. You also captured the energy of the famous movie adaptation without being slaved to it's version or letting it overshadow the original novel. A very tricky balancing act, there. This project is one of the most ambitious things that I have seen on DA so far, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
